Hamilton Red-Card Banned From Football

Former Middlesbrough striker, Hamilton Ricard, has received a one year ban from football, after attacking a referee whilst playing for Emelec in the Ecuadorian Championship.

The 30 year striker allegedly pushed Segundo Jackson Diaz to the ground, before making obscene gestures to the crowd during his sides 0-0 draw with Olmedo de Riobamba. Emelec have vowed to appeal the decision.
